Real Questions. Compassionate responses.

Welcome to the Mosaic Counselling Anonymous Questions page.

Here you will find answers to questions submitted through the anonymous question box. I hope these responses provide reassurance, information and support, not only for the person who asked, but for anyone who may have wondered the same thing.

As new questions are received, they will be answered and added to this page.

Anonymous Question

Are there any discounts for those on benefits? I cannot afford regular sessions but feel that one would not be enough.

Answer

Thank you for your question.

I understand that the cost of counselling can sometimes feel like a barrier.

Mosaic Counselling currently offers a 20% discount for people receiving benefits to help make counselling accessible.

Please get in touch if you would like to explore your options, or find out more.

Anonymous Question

Hi, can you offer relationship counselling to both of us? Or is it only 1:1?

At the moment, I offer individual counselling (1:1) rather than couples counselling.

Relationship difficulties can still be explored in individual counselling. Together, we can explore communication, boundaries, recurring patterns, and how your relationships may be affecting your wellbeing.

Couples counselling is something I’m exploring for the future at Mosaic Counselling. If you’re looking for support as a couple at the moment, I’d recommend seeking a counsellor who specialises in couples counselling.

Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss your individual counselling needs or find out more.

Anonymous Question

Do you help with alcohol addiction?

Thank you for your question.

At present, I don’t offer counselling specifically for alcohol or drug addiction, as this is not an area I currently specialise in.

I believe it is important that people receive support from someone with the appropriate experience and knowledge for their needs, so I would recommend seeking support from a counsellor or service specialising in alcohol addiction.

This may be an area I develop in the future, but at present I wouldn’t offer support outside my current experience and competence.
