Costs & Booking Information
We want our counselling costs to be upfront from the beginning, so you know what to expect before arranging your first session.
Individual Counselling
Individual counselling is £50 per hour.
Payment is due on the day of your session and can be made by bank transfer (BACS) or card payment.
Couples Counselling
Couples counselling is £80 per hour.
Payment is due on the day of your session and can be made by bank transfer (BACS) or card payment.
Block Bookings
If you would prefer to book several sessions in advance, we offer a block of 10 hours for £450.
This means you pay for nine sessions and receive your 10th session free.
Block bookings must be paid in full before your first session, and all 10 hours must be used within four months of the purchase date. Any unused sessions after this time will be forfeited without a refund.
If you decide to end counselling before using all 10 hours, the sessions you have already attended will be charged at the standard individual rate of £50 per hour. Any remaining balance will then be refunded.
Concessionary Appointments
A limited number of reduced-cost appointments are available for unpaid carers and people receiving certain benefits.
Mosaic Counselling also supports unpaid carers through Lanarkshire Carers, where our counselling services are listed. You can find out more about the support available through their website.
Please contact Susan directly to discuss eligibility and availability. You may be asked to provide a carer card or benefits award letter to confirm eligibility.
Cancellations
We understand that sometimes plans need to change. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a session. Where less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, the full session fee will still apply.
For block bookings, a session cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or a missed appointment, will be deducted from your remaining block balance.
